This has meant that crimes have become easier to solve due to the amount of evidence that can now be used to identify and convict criminals. DNA profiling has been one of the most important aspects of forensic science both in modern trials, as well as when investigators are looking back at cases from the past as the technologies used to identify DNA continue to grow.
